NFC/RFIDアクセサリーです。 These are passive NFC/RFID accessories. We do not sell, describe or intend them for any medical purpose, and a partner physician installs them as our own standard.医療目的で 販売・説明・ 使用する ことは 想定していません。 インストールは、 当社の 基準と して 提携医師が 行います。

- 医療機器に
当たるかどうかは、 Whether something counts as a medical device depends on what it is intended to do, not on the fact that it sits under the skin. Our implants are passive NFC/RFID accessories: held to a reader, they return a stored ID or the data written to them. We do not market, sell or intend them for any medical purpose, and our position is therefore that they do not fall within the Act's definition of a medical device. That is our reading, not a determination issued by the authorities.皮下に 入ると いう 事実ではなく、 何の ために 使うか、 つまり 使用目的で 判断されます。 当社の インプラントは パッシブ型の NFC/RFIDアクセサリーで、 リーダーに かざした ときに IDや 保存した データを 読み取らせるだけの ものです。 医療目的で 販売・宣伝・ 使用する ことは ないため、 当社は 薬機法上の 医療機器には 当たらない ものと 整理しています。 これは 当社の 考え方であり、 行政に よる 判定を 受けた ものではありません。 - 日本の
薬機法 Under Japan's Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act (薬機法), Article 2, Paragraph 4 defines a medical device by its medical intended use: diagnosing, treating or preventing disease, or affecting the structure or functioning of the body. A passive ID accessory that makes no medical claims falls outside that definition and is treated as a general accessory (雑貨).（医薬品医療機器等法）では、 第2条第4項が 医療機器を 「疾病の 診断・治療・予防」や 「身体の 構造・機能に 影響を 及ぼす」と いった 医療目的に よって 定義しています。 医療目的を うたわない パッシブ型の IDアクセサリーは、 この 定義に 当ては まらず、 一般の 雑貨と して 扱われます。

- インプラント自体は
アクセサリーです。 The implant itself is an accessory. As our own safety and quality standard, VivoKey Japan requires that installation and removal are performed by a physician, who is responsible for them. Every voucher is redeemed with a partner physician.そのうえで 当社は、 安全と 品質の 基準と して、 インストールと 除去を 医師が 責任を もって 行う ことを 条件と しています。 インストールバウチャーは、 提携医師のもとでのみ ご利用いただけます。 - 当社が
定める The installation method we specify may include steps that only a physician may perform in Japan, local anesthesia among them. The physician examines you first and decides whether to proceed; that decision is always theirs.インストール方法には、 局所麻酔など、 日本では 医師に しか 認められていない 行為が 含まれる 場合が あります。 担当の 医師が 診察の うえ、 行うか どうかを 判断します。 その 判断は 常に 医師の ものです。
